We didn’t take with noodle. We order beef and turtle soup. Turtle Soup with herbal favours nice.
The food here is not too bad… texture is like eating beef but it’s actually labi labi turtle. Not really a big fan but overall nice herbal broth with the noodles.
Recent visit, still the same. Food court. No fancy. Need to tolerate a little bit on cleanliness, still acceptable to be able to dine in. Friendly boss. Nice! Good portion. Herbal soup that was not too strong, crunchy "collagen" bits.
Easy to find parking. The turtle soup is tasty and lean meat taste like chicken meat. The herbal (ginseng and reddates) soup is good even my kids who didn't like herbal soup finished the whole bowl. People said the soup is good for detoxification, so eating turtle soup good for complexion. One bowl price RM10. They also have beef noodle RM12 but we didn't try.
We were lucky to get the last bowl of soft-shelled turtle soup and beef brisket noodle. We arrived quite late at around 2pm. So be there early to avoid disappointment. The soft-shelled turtle soup was cooked with chinese herbal, but i personally found the chinese herbal aroma was a bit overwhelmed. It is RM12 The turtle meat was surprisingly tasty though, with some lean meat and tendon. The beef brisket noodle was superb, i like it very much. The braised beef brisket comes in aromatic savoury broth. There is a roasted chicken, pork and wonton noodles stall just beside Ming Kee, so there is alternative meals for kids that don't like beef brisket noodles nor soft-shelled turtle soup.
I had the opportunity to try both the beef noodle and the soft-shell turtle (Labi-labi) noodle here, and I must say, they were both exceptionally delicious. Labi-labi noodle is a rare find in other places, but this spot has it. The price is quite reasonable at around RM12 per bowl, and the portion size is just right. When I visited on a Sunday around 1 pm, the beef noodle was nearly sold out, which speaks to its popularity. On the downside, I found that the drinks sold by other stalls were rather tasteless.
